Exploring moments of connection, surprise, and sometimes even strangeness in our encounters with Indigenous peoples...<\/p>\n<\/div>

What do we know about the ways of being and thinking of Brazil\u2019s Indigenous peoples?<\/strong> What can we learn from their relationships with the natural and spiritual worlds, with plants and stars, and with the ways they inhabit and care for their territories?<\/p>\n

The Forest Thinking Project<\/strong> offers a window into this vast and fascinating Indigenous universe through conversations with specialists working across a wide range of fields. Through accessible and engaging interviews, we share insights that extend beyond academic and literary circles, inviting experts to unpack their research and reflect on the moments of connection, surprise, and unfamiliarity that emerge in encounters with Indigenous peoples and their worlds.<\/p>\n

In other words, Forest Thinking grew out of a desire to share perspectives and forms of knowledge that are confined to specialist books, academic articles, or Indigenous testimonies that remain inaccessible to many. We believe that making these ideas available through new forms of storytelling and communication can help foster a deeper understanding of Indigenous peoples and contribute to positive social change in how they are perceived and treated.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
